Final reflections

Back to Italy, back to the exams. away from Pori, away from the IP, away from all of you.
It has not been easy, actually it keeps being hard to get back to usual life-style, but it had to be like this. What I can say now is that I came back not as I went away more than two weeks ago. Lots of my ideas has changed, lots of my thoughts has improved as well as before going to Pori I had some shadows upon nursing viewd as a profession, about the capabilty of being nurse around Europe, about maybe too many differences in education, learning theories, fields of developing our profession, about nursing considered as indipendent and autonomous job, without the heavy presence of doctors, imposed above our head in Italy.

Well, now, after theese two weeks, after our incredible group working, after we mixed up each other trying to find a common train of thought wich could guide our different experiences, points of view, cultural, ethical, social and historical features due to manifold differences between us, after all this I have to say most of my shadows almost desapear, and let the sunshine in!

Usefull Intensive program, to understand how much work is waiting for us but in the same way we understood that we can do it, we have to do it, 'cause Europe and the whole world is changing and we have to keep in step with theese changes because of our unique purpose, because of them, because of our patients, the only common aim of nurses all over the Europe and all over the world.

So I would like to thank you all. I have learnt a lot from all of you students, mentors and academics. It's just thanks to you, thanks to MINE, thanks to this intensive program I can feel better thinking on my future profession, without shadows anymore, without any feeling but optmism!

One week..ALREADY!!!!!!!!

Here I am! Have finally succeeded in writing on the blog!They have been marvelous days, characterized by a good job during the day-time, and from a lot of fun after the job. I don't know from where to start!!Wednesday evening has been unforgettable, we have gone to a restaurant situated in an old cottage, where we have been able to taste the typical finnish kitchen, and I must say that...I liked it a lot!!!

After have gone all together with also some mentors and teachers to a cafe next to the hostel!!Have had a really good time!!! What strikes me of this experience is the unbelievable speed with which we got used to each other and to this rhythm and this groupworking, everybody together!That is what is called INTENSIVE PROGRAM! And it is!!

Thursday then marvelous day in shore to the frozen sea, made of so many moments of playing on the snow and of relaxing in Finnish sauna, with also some dive in the icy water! Unforgettable experience!!

Apart one more or less detailed list of things we've done or thing have not done, I believe both important to again underline as this experience is taking shape more and more quickly, and my fear will be that when everything this will be ended and will happen very soon, I will probably feel sad and won't be very easy to return to every day life! Here i'm spending great time with fantastic people, that come from half Europe and with which I have in common many ideas and thoughts despite the different origins,then I am appreciating a country as Finland, marvelous landscape but above all incredibly pleasant people! As it regards the job of group in itself I am understanding more and more how is it shaped and how to do it and the final product is coming out and I cannot wait to bring in Italy our work so other students and academic and nurses can see and understand better what is happening in Europe and how things are going on out of Italy!

here we are!

Hello!!
Finally..we're here! 
We arrived at around 6 pm in Pori airport..after a very loooong stressful trip.
Well i thought worse..it's not that cold!!!at least is same as in Florence..so I was pleased to notice it..!!


after arriving to the hostel we just eat something at kind of a finnish mcdonalds..it was just as I was re-borned!!XD


Yesterday round trip of the hospital..and at this point I have a reflection about it..
What impressed me it's I didn't see a huge difference between the hospital I was visiting and our hospital in Empoli, where I study, as I expected to see. Don't misunderstand me..I observed a lot of differences, and deeply think Pori's hospital was better than ours..but I just expected much more difference than what I noticed.


Anyway I was shocked by the cleaness and the order of all of the interiors i've been in since I'm here, I was and I'm still just SHOCKED!..and I think this order is directly reflexed to the behaviour and the life-style up to a living right-minded.


Talking about the group work, I'll let you know when we'll start it,  I don't feel like proclaiming my thoughts about it cause I want to find out how things are really going to work!;-)

So I hope I didn't bore you readers too much, and speak to you pretty soon!

My first Post on my first Blog....!!!!!!

Hey everybody!!
As most of you guys this is my first blog so i'm not sure it's gonna be fine. Anyway, days are just flying and obviously i can't wait to have this experience with you all. It will be great oportunity for us and I hope we will catch it in the best way possible!
Here in Florence everything is OK!..nice weather (actually till yesterday)..not too much cold..well talking about weather i really do have to confess i'm kind of scared of low...VERY LOW temperatures!!!!!!..but i'll try to get  confident with Finland and its weather..XD
I didn't have a lot of pictures of myself on this laptop from where i'm writing the post..so..this is one of them..this is me!
